Edsel Ford teacher Kathleen Daly hits an appropriate pose Oct. 29 as staff members pose for a photo wearing the Man of Steel costumes as part of a school unity and pride day.  Recent attention to the documentary titled “Waiting For Superman” inspired the staff to take a day and bring attention to the academic gains being made at the school.

A crew of Snow Elementary teachers perform to “Thriller” by Michael Jackson Oct. 28 for the Rotary Club of Dearborn fundraiser “So You Think You Can Lip Sync?!” at Fordson High School. School students, staffs and some city officials dressed in costume and pretended to belt out popular tunes from the 60’s to the present. Funds raised are for scholarships for high school students in the city.
