Detroit and Dearborn police evidence techs mark the location of bullet shell casings at the Southfield Freeway and Joy Road near a car used by suspected armed robbers in a holdup Monday morning at Starters Bar in the Fairlane Town Center. Police said one suspect shot himself in the head after pointing his gun at a Dearborn officer attempting to arrest him.

Students from Dearborn High School Student Video Program make a movie every year. This year’s project, likely their largest ever, is "Saint's Cove" and is a murder mystery involving a fishing camp. The crew of actors, directors, camera operators, lighting and sound techs with dozens of extras filled Dylan’s Restaurant in Grosse Point Woods Saturday to shoot scenes from the movie that will open at the Michael A. Guido Theater in May.
