A Dearborn police officer keeps watch inside Sunrise Beauty Supply March 15 after an armed robbery and homicide at the business near Schaefer Road and Michigan Avenue. At this point it appears the suspects were after women's hair weaves. There were reportedly 80 of them missing from the store's inventory and each one costs as much as $135, police said.

Hussein, Ahmed and Rehab Amer sit at a press conference March 16 Dearborn attorney Nabih Ayad. They announced the filing of a lawsuit against the state of Michigan for the pain the family and their other three children suffered when the state removed them from the home in 1985 and placed them with an abusive fundamentalist Christian family.
